Carmina R
Loss Consultant
As a Loss Consultant/Marketer with the Water and Fire Restoration Team (WAFRT), I proactively source and develop new client relationships while supporting customers through some of their most challenging moments. My top strengths—customer service, leadership, and communication—allow me to connect with clients, earn their trust, and guide them with care and clarity throughout their restoration process.
I am passionate about learning and growing. In my short time here, I’ve discovered the importance of confidently approaching people, sharing the services we offer, and helping them understand that they are never alone after a loss. What I enjoy most so far is getting to know the incredible team at WAFRT and offering peace of mind to customers who have experienced significant damage to their homes.
I was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and outside of work I love spending time with my family, friends, and three beloved pets—two French bulldogs and a Morkie. I also have a strong love for traveling and exploring new places. One fun fact about me is that during COVID, I taught myself to play the ukulele, which I still enjoy picking up from time to time.
Before joining WAFRT, I retired from USAA after 35 years, including 21 years in Claims and 14 years in Human Resources. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Our Lady of the Lake University with a minor in Religious Studies, and a Master of Science in Leadership (MSL) in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
I’m motivated by my favorite scripture, “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). Looking ahead, my goal is to learn my role thoroughly and excel in it. I am excited about the opportunity to grow as a Loss Consultant/Marketer and look forward to advancing within the company as I continue developing in my new career.
